Sūrya-pūjā-vidhi — The Procedure for Sun-Worship
Lord Agni (in instruction to the sage Vasiṣṭha, typical Agni Purāṇa dialogue frame)

Related Themes: Agni Purana 73 (graha-nyāsa and bīja usage)
It teaches a practical graha-śānti procedure: perform namaskāra to the grahas and worship specific planets using their designated bīja-syllables, along with a protective trāsanī rite connected to an astra (weapon/weapon-mantra).
It exemplifies the text’s manual-like coverage of applied disciplines—here, Jyotiṣa-linked ritual technique—by listing operational bīja-mantras and a concrete ritual action (namaskriyā/trāsanī) rather than only narrative theology.
By honoring and pacifying planetary forces through mantra and salutation, the practitioner seeks removal of obstacles and inauspicious influences, aiming at protection (rakṣā) and the harmonizing of karmic conditions attributed to graha-doṣa.
