Special Rules of Bathing, Mantra-Purification, and Sandhyā

It prescribes practical purification methods: ritual bathing using a nine-mantra sequence, protection via a mantra-kavacha (varman), and abhiṣeka/sprinkling with water empowered by Sadyojāta and related mantras.
It catalogs multiple interchangeable ritual technologies—snāna, kavacha/varman, and mantra-infused abhiṣeka—showing the text’s compendium-style coverage of procedural worship, purification, and sectarian mantra systems.
These acts remove ritual impurity and establish protective sanctity, making the practitioner fit for worship and sacramental acts, while accruing merit through disciplined mantra-based purification.
