FAQs

It teaches the correct procedure for entering and taking residence in a new/auspicious home: honour qualified ritual authorities (daivajñas) and then recite a puṣṭi-kara (prosperity-producing) mantra with mental focus.

Alongside theology, the Agni Purana preserves practical household ritual protocols—how to perform auspicious domestic transitions (gṛha-praveśa) and the authorized role of specialists—showing its coverage of lived religious practice.

By entering the home with reverence to learned officiants and reciting a prosperity-mantra in a collected state, the householder aligns the dwelling with śubha (auspiciousness), seeking puṣṭi (nourishment, growth) and reducing inauspicious influences.
