Gateway Installation, Flag Hoisting, and Allied Rites

Related Themes: Agni Purana 61 (Nṛsiṃha mantra; cakra protection; dhvaja procedures)
It teaches a concise Nṛsiṃha-mantra usage and the sequence of actions in worship: mantra-recitation, pūjā, formal installation (sthāpana) of Hari, and the ceremonial taking of the dhvaja by the yajamāna with his family.
Beyond theology, it preserves practical liturgical protocol—mantra-bīja usage, deity installation, and public/householder participation—showing the Agni Purāṇa’s role as a handbook of ritual procedure alongside its many other disciplines.
Worship and installation of Hari with Nṛsiṃha-mantra is framed as a protective, merit-producing observance; involving the yajamāna’s kin emphasizes shared purification, collective auspiciousness, and strengthening of dharmic household life.
