FAQs

It prescribes a śānti-homa sequence: offer ghee-sesame with Vyāhṛtis, make a ghee oblation with the mūlamantra, then complete pacification offerings with the madhura-tritaya (three sweet substances).

It records precise operational details of mantra-linked fire offerings—ingredients, recitations, and sequencing—showing the text’s practical coverage of ritual technology alongside its broader theological and cultural topics.

Śānti-homa is aimed at pacifying adverse influences and restoring auspiciousness; the Vyāhṛtis and sweet oblations function as purificatory and harmonizing acts that support inner and outer peace.
