FAQs

It gives a practical rule for preparing a śubhā piṇḍikā (ritual offering mass) in multiple variants and prescribes a standard measure—eight tālas—used in ritual/iconographic construction.

Alongside theology, it preserves applied technical details—standardized measures (tāla) and procedural instructions for worship—showing how the text functions as a manual for ritual practice and traditional craft norms.

By correctly preparing the auspicious offering according to prescribed measure, the rite is held to attract Lakṣmī’s grace—especially prosperity and auspiciousness for women—through orderly, rule-based worship.
