Chapter 338 — शृङ्गारादिरसनिरूपणम्

Exposition of the Rasas beginning with Śṛṅgāra

क्रोधस्तैक्ष्णप्रबोधश् च प्रतिकूलानुकारिणि पुरुषार्थसमाप्त्यार्थो यः स उत्साह उच्यते

krodhastaikṣṇaprabodhaś ca pratikūlānukāriṇi puruṣārthasamāptyārtho yaḥ sa utsāha ucyate

Cet élan intentionnel—marqué par une intensité ardente et une vigilance aiguë, persistant même au milieu de circonstances adverses ou contraires, et visant l’accomplissement des buts de la vie humaine—est appelé utsāha (résolution énergique/entreprise).
