Lord Agni (traditional Agni Purāṇa narration to Vasiṣṭha; verse is a Devī-stuti in direct address)

Alamkara Type: Anaphora/Anuprāsa-like repetition of 'tvam' (epanaphora) and Nāma-mālā (garland of names)
Concept: Śakti-immanence: the Goddess is the operative principle in ritual speech (svāhā/svadhā), temporal order (sandhyā/rātri), and human excellences (medhā/śraddhā), dissolving the divide between outer rite and inner capacity.
Application: During sandhyā and pūjā, contemplate each epithet as a lived discipline—faith (śraddhā), clarity (medhā), purity (lokapāvanī), and right offering (svāhā/svadhā).

Related Themes: Agni Purana 236 (Śrī-stotra continuation)
It identifies key ritual powers as forms of Devī—especially the offering-formulas Svāhā (for deva-homa) and Svadhā (for pitṛ offerings), and Sandhyā as the daily juncture-worship—framing them as divine embodiments rather than mere words.
By compressing multiple domains—homa liturgy (svāhā), ancestor rites (svadhā), daily discipline (sandhyā), and theological identifications of abstract virtues (medhā, śraddhā, bhūti) with Devī—into a single stotra-style catalog of definitions.
The verse teaches that successful rites, purification, and inner virtues arise through Devī as the underlying śakti; contemplating her as Svāhā/Svadhā/Sandhyā sacralizes daily worship and is held to support auspiciousness, clarity of intellect, and spiritual accomplishment (siddhi).
