FAQs

It introduces the Tripurā-pūjā sequence and lists the attendant/guardian deities to be invoked or arranged in a prescribed order as part of the ritual framework.

By preserving a compact ritual index—names and order of specific mantra-deities/attendants—this chapter functions like a practical pūjā-manual, showing how the Agni Purāṇa catalogs specialized Śākta-Tantric procedures alongside many other disciplines.

Correct sequential invocation is traditionally held to establish ritual protection (āvaraṇa/guarding) and completeness of worship, supporting purity, efficacy of mantra-practice, and merit (puṇya) through properly ordered devotion.
