इत्य् आग्नेये महापुराणे नारसिंहादिमन्त्रा नाम पञ्चाधिकत्रिशततमो ऽध्यायः अथ षष्ठाधिकत्रिशततमो ऽध्यायः त्रैलोक्यमोहनमन्त्राः अग्निर् उवाच वक्ष्ये मन्त्रं चतुर्वर्गसिद्ध्यै त्रैलिक्यमोहनम् ः ॐ पुरुषोत्तम त्रिभुवनमदोन्मादकर हूं फट् हृदयाय नमः कर्षय महाबल हूं फट् अस्त्राय त्रिभुवनेश्वर सर्वजनमनांसि हन दारय मम वशमानय हूं फट् नेत्राय त्रैलोक्यमोहन हृषीकेशाप्रतिरूप सर्वस्त्रीहृदयाकर्षण आगच्छ नमः सङ्गाक्षिण्यायकेन न्यासं मूलवदीरितं
ity āgneye mahāpurāṇe nārasiṃhādimantrā nāma pañcādhikatriśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ atha ṣaṣṭhādhikatriśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ trailokyamohanamantrāḥ agnir uvāca vakṣye mantraṃ caturvargasiddhyai trailikyamohanam ḥ oṃ puruṣottama tribhuvanamadonmādakara hūṃ phaṭ hṛdayāya namaḥ karṣaya mahābala hūṃ phaṭ astrāya tribhuvaneśvara sarvajanamanāṃsi hana dāraya mama vaśamānaya hūṃ phaṭ netrāya trailokyamohana hṛṣīkeśāpratirūpa sarvastrīhṛdayākarṣaṇa āgaccha namaḥ saṅgākṣiṇyāyakena nyāsaṃ mūlavadīritaṃ
Ainsi, dans l’Agni Mahāpurāṇa s’achève le chapitre trois-cent-cinq, intitulé « Mantras de Narasiṃha et autres ». Commence maintenant le chapitre trois-cent-six : « Mantras pour enchanter les trois mondes ». Agni dit : « Je vais proclamer le mantra Trailokya-mohana, qui procure l’accomplissement des quatre buts humains (dharma, artha, kāma, mokṣa) : “Oṃ, ô Puruṣottama, toi qui enivres et rends délirants les trois mondes—hūṃ phaṭ—hommage au Cœur. Attire (les êtres), ô Très-Puissant—hūṃ phaṭ—(ceci) pour l’Arme (astrā). Ô Seigneur des trois mondes, frappe les esprits de tous; fends (leur résolution); amène-les sous mon pouvoir—hūṃ phaṭ—hommage à l’Œil. Ô Enchanteur des trois mondes, ô forme correspondante de Hṛṣīkeśa, attire le cœur de toutes les femmes; viens—hommage.” Avec « Saṅgākṣiṇī » et les autres, on doit accomplir le nyāsa comme il est énoncé pour le mantra racine.
