Chapter 157

कार्यो नैवाग्निसंस्कारो नैव चास्योदकक्रिया चतुर्थे च दिनेकार्यस् तथास्थ्नां चैव सञ्चयः

kāryo naivāgnisaṃskāro naiva cāsyodakakriyā caturthe ca dinekāryas tathāsthnāṃ caiva sañcayaḥ

Aucun rite supplémentaire du feu (agni-saṃskāra, crémation) ne doit être accompli, ni la cérémonie de l’eau (udaka-kriyā, libations) pour lui ; au contraire, le quatrième jour, on doit procéder au rassemblement des ossements.
