Bhuvanakośa: Cosmic Geography and Cosmological Measures

Related Themes: Agni Purana 120 (devatā-svarūpa and cosmology continuation)
It gives devatā-svarūpa and ratha-lakṣaṇa details: Viṣṇu is mapped to the Vedas, and Soma is described iconographically with a three-wheeled chariot and jasmine-white horses—useful for dhyāna and deity visualization in worship.
It compresses multiple knowledge domains into one verse—Vedic theology (Viṣṇu as Veda-maya), karmic causality (śubha/āśubha), and iconographic specification (Soma’s ratha and horses), showing the text’s catalog-like coverage of doctrine plus practical visualization cues.
By grounding Viṣṇu in the Vedas and presenting him as the basis of auspicious/inauspicious outcomes, the verse frames devotion and right knowledge as aligning one’s karma toward śubha (beneficial) results, supported by focused dhyāna on the deities’ forms.
