Chapter 116 — गयायात्राविधिः (Gayā-yātrā-vidhiḥ) | The Procedure for the Gayā Pilgrimage
Lord Agni (narrating a stotra within the Agni Purana’s discourse)

It imparts stotra-vidyā: a precise contemplative formula for worship—meditating on Brahman as eternally pure (nityaśuddha), truth (satyam), and non-dual bliss (ānandam advayam) while offering namaskāra.
Alongside ritual, polity, medicine, and arts, the Agni Purana preserves Vedāntic theology through stotras—summarizing metaphysical doctrine (Brahman as satya, śuddha, advaya, ānanda) in a liturgical, recitable form.
Bowing to Brahman as the non-dual truth is presented as a purifying act: it refines buddhi (discernment), dissolves dualistic grasping, and supports liberation-oriented merit through devotion aligned with right knowledge.
