FAQs

It prescribes daily Sandhyā-upāsanā and specifically adds evening salutation to Sarasvatī, emphasizing the disciplined performance of the three daily Sandhyā rites (trisandhyā).

Alongside cosmology and other sciences, the Agni Purana also codifies practical nitya-karma (daily duties) such as Sandhyā-vandana and deity-specific worship, showing its coverage of ritual procedure, religious discipline, and the cultivation of sacred learning.

Regular trisandhyā practice is presented as purifying and merit-producing, culminating in the fruit of becoming ‘veda-vedāṅga-pāraga’—a spiritually and intellectually perfected practitioner grounded in Vedic wisdom.
