Chapter 24 — कुण्डनिर्माणादिविधिः

Procedure for Constructing the Fire-pit and Related Rites

सौम्याग्रा प्रथमा तस्यां रेखे पूर्वमुखे तयोः मध्ये तिस्रस् तथा कुर्याद्दक्षिणादिक्रमेण तु

saumyāgrā prathamā tasyāṃ rekhe pūrvamukhe tayoḥ madhye tisras tathā kuryāddakṣiṇādikrameṇa tu

Dans cette disposition, la première ligne doit avoir sa pointe tournée vers le côté propice (le nord) ; et les deux lignes doivent faire face à l’est. Entre elles, on tracera de même trois lignes supplémentaires, en suivant l’ordre qui commence par le sud.
