Sage Parāśara (to Maitreya)
In this verse it is presented as the supreme abode/state of Vishnu—an immortal realm that represents the final goal of spiritual practice and liberation.
He frames yoga’s culmination as reaching Vishnu’s highest station, described as an “amṛta” (deathless) state reserved for realized yogins.
Vishnu is depicted as the Supreme destination itself—the ultimate reality and refuge—so liberation is defined as attaining His supreme abode rather than merely escaping rebirth.
