हिमवानुवाच । अद्य मे सफलं जन्म अद्य मे सफलाः क्रियाः । यन्मे साक्षात्त्वमव्यक्ता प्रसन्ना दृष्टिगोचरा । इदानीं किं मया कार्यं तन्मे ब्रूहि महेश्वरि
himavānuvāca | adya me saphalaṃ janma adya me saphalāḥ kriyāḥ | yanme sākṣāttvamavyaktā prasannā dṛṣṭigocarā | idānīṃ kiṃ mayā kāryaṃ tanme brūhi maheśvari
Dijo Himavān: «Hoy mi nacimiento ha sido colmado; hoy mis obras han dado fruto, pues Tú, la Inmanifestada (Avyakta), te has mostrado con gracia ante mis propios ojos. ¿Qué debo hacer ahora? Dímelo, oh Maheśvarī».
