Transliteration

ekadā krīḍatā tena hāritaṃ dyūtamadbhutam | kitavairmardyamāno hi tadā novāca kiñcana

Translation

Una vez, mientras jugaba, perdió estrepitosamente en un asombroso juego de dados. Aunque los tahúres lo golpeaban, en aquel momento no dijo palabra alguna.
