दधीचिरुवाच । एते सुरेशा ऋषयो महत्तराः सलोकपालाश्च समागतास्तव । तथाऽपि यज्ञस्तु न शोभते भृशंपिनाकिना तेन महात्मना विना
dadhīciruvāca | ete sureśā ṛṣayo mahattarāḥ salokapālāśca samāgatāstava | tathā'pi yajñastu na śobhate bhṛśaṃpinākinā tena mahātmanā vinā
Dadhīci dijo: «Oh Dakṣa, para ti se han reunido los poderosos dioses, los grandes ṛṣis e incluso los guardianes de los mundos (lokapālas); y, sin embargo, este sacrificio no resplandece en absoluto sin el magnánimo Pinākin (Śiva), portador del arco.»
