विदुरेष्यद्धियाऽपायं परतोऽन्ये विवेकिनः । नैवोभयं विदुर्नीचा विनाऽनुभवमात्मनः
vidureṣyaddhiyā'pāyaṃ parato'nye vivekinaḥ | naivobhayaṃ vidurnīcā vinā'nubhavamātmanaḥ
Los prudentes reconocen el peligro aun cuando se acerca; otros lo comprenden después de que ha sucedido. Mas los viles no conocen ni lo uno ni lo otro, salvo cuando lo padecen en sí mismos.
