श्राद्धं यः कुरुते तत्र स्नात्वा दानं विशेषतः । पितरस्तस्य तृप्यंति यावदाभूतसंप्लवम्

Transliteration

śrāddhaṃ yaḥ kurute tatra snātvā dānaṃ viśeṣataḥ | pitarastasya tṛpyaṃti yāvadābhūtasaṃplavam

Translation

Quienquiera que realice allí el śrāddha—tras bañarse y, sobre todo, dar caridad—sus antepasados (pitṛ) quedan satisfechos hasta el tiempo de la disolución cósmica.
