Transliteration

tāryate ca nadīṃ ghorāṃ pūyaśoṇitavāhinīm | nadīṃ vaitaraṇīṃ nāma keśaśaivalaśādvalām

Translation

Y se le hace cruzar un río terrible que arrastra pus y sangre: el río llamado Vaitaraṇī, cuyas riberas están enmarañadas de cabellos y cubiertas de algas viscosas y hierba.
