अहो सुरूपसर्वांग कस्माद्दुःखी भवानपि । ततोस्य कारणं सर्वं व्याचष्ट नंदभद्रकः
aho surūpasarvāṃga kasmādduḥkhī bhavānapi | tatosya kāraṇaṃ sarvaṃ vyācaṣṭa naṃdabhadrakaḥ
“¡Ah! Oh tú, de miembros hermosos y bien formados, ¿por qué también estás afligido?” Entonces Nandabhadra le explicó por completo la causa de su propio pesar.
