करंधम उवाच । कानि पापानि विप्रेंद्र यैस्तु संमूढचेतसः । न वेदेषु न धर्मेषु रतिमापद्यते मनः

karaṃdhama uvāca | kāni pāpāni vipreṃdra yaistu saṃmūḍhacetasaḥ | na vedeṣu na dharmeṣu ratimāpadyate manaḥ

Karaṃdhama dijo: Oh, el mejor de los brāhmaṇas, ¿cuáles son los pecados por los que la mente del hombre se extravía, de modo que no halla deleite ni en los Vedas ni en el dharma?
