देवार्चनं च पूर्वाह्णे कार्याण्याहुर्महर्षयः । पालाशमासनं चैव पादुके दंतधावनम् । वर्जयेदासनं चैव पदा नाकर्षयेद्बुधः
devārcanaṃ ca pūrvāhṇe kāryāṇyāhurmaharṣayaḥ | pālāśamāsanaṃ caiva pāduke daṃtadhāvanam | varjayedāsanaṃ caiva padā nākarṣayedbudhaḥ
Los grandes sabios declaran que la adoración a los Devas debe realizarse en la mañana, antes del mediodía. Debe usarse un asiento de madera de palāśa, calzarse sandalias y limpiar los dientes del modo debido. El prudente ha de evitar toda irreverencia hacia el asiento y no arrastrarlo con el pie.
