इति जपः गोमेदनामा प्लक्षोस्ति सुरम्यो यस्य च्छायया । मोदोवृद्धिं गतं लौल्याद्गोमेदं द्वीपमुच्यते
iti japaḥ gomedanāmā plakṣosti suramyo yasya cchāyayā | modovṛddhiṃ gataṃ laulyādgomedaṃ dvīpamucyate
«Así es el japa (recitación).» Hay un hermoso árbol plakṣa llamado Gomeda; bajo su sombra, el gozo crece por dulce deleite—por eso esa isla se llama Gomeda-dvīpa.
