नारद उवाच । अव्यक्तोऽस्मिन्निरालोके प्रधानपुरुषावुभौ । अजौ समागतावेकौ केवलं श्रृणुमो वयम्
nārada uvāca | avyakto'sminnirāloke pradhānapuruṣāvubhau | ajau samāgatāvekau kevalaṃ śrṛṇumo vayam
Nārada dijo: «En este estado inmanifestado y sin luz, estaban presentes ambos, Pradhāna (la Naturaleza primordial) y Puruṣa (el Espíritu consciente): no nacidos y unidos como uno. Escuchad de nosotros este relato tal como es.»
