Scene: Skanda, joyful after hearing Pārvatī’s speech, ritually establishes Girijā’s presence (as an icon/kalasha/yantra) and then turns to address Śiva (Kapardin).
Reverent listening to divine counsel leads to proper स्थापना (sacred establishment) and right action in dharma.
The verse sets the scene for the Kumāreśvara sacred precinct described in this adhyāya (local Sthala Māhātmya within Kaumārikākhaṇḍa).
It implies स्थापना/pratiṣṭhā (ritual establishment) as the foundational act before further worship and boons.
