पूजां च जागरं कृत्वा मुच्येत्पारुष्यपापतः । इत्याह स्कंदप्रीत्यर्थं स्वयं तत्र महेश्वरः
pūjāṃ ca jāgaraṃ kṛtvā mucyetpāruṣyapāpataḥ | ityāha skaṃdaprītyarthaṃ svayaṃ tatra maheśvaraḥ
Y, tras realizar la adoración y la vigilia nocturna, uno queda libre del pecado de la aspereza y la crueldad. Así habló allí el propio Maheśvara, para complacer a Skanda.
