abhāgyairiva lokeṣu tārakaḥ skaṃdamāyayau | jagrāha ca gadāṃ divyāṃ lakṣaghaṃṭādurāsadām
Como la desdicha que desciende sobre los mundos, Tāraka avanzó hacia Skanda por su māyā; y empuñó una maza divina, temible por el tañido de cien mil campanas.
