अपतन्भूतले पार्थ च्छिन्नाभ्राणीव सर्वशः । ततस्तद्दानवं सैन्यं हतनाथमभूत्तदा
apatanbhūtale pārtha cchinnābhrāṇīva sarvaśaḥ | tatastaddānavaṃ sainyaṃ hatanāthamabhūttadā
Cayeron sobre la tierra, oh Pārtha, por doquier, como nubes desgarradas. Entonces aquel ejército dānava quedó sin jefe, pues su caudillo había sido muerto.
