जगच्च क्षुब्धमत्यर्थं स्वां प्रतिज्ञां पुरा कृताम् । पश्चिमां प्रतिलंबंतं भास्करं चापि लोहितम्
jagacca kṣubdhamatyarthaṃ svāṃ pratijñāṃ purā kṛtām | paścimāṃ pratilaṃbaṃtaṃ bhāskaraṃ cāpi lohitam
Y el mundo se estremeció en extremo; (vio) el voto que antes había hecho, y también al Sol, enrojecido, colgando bajo hacia el occidente.
