तदेंद्रो वज्रमुत्सृज्य प्रांजलिः शरणं ययौ । तस्याभयं ददौ स्कंदः सहसैन्यस्य सत्तमः
tadeṃdro vajramutsṛjya prāṃjaliḥ śaraṇaṃ yayau | tasyābhayaṃ dadau skaṃdaḥ sahasainyasya sattamaḥ
Entonces Indra, dejando a un lado su rayo (vajra), acudió en busca de refugio con las palmas juntas. Skanda—el mejor entre los caudillos de ejércitos—le concedió la ausencia de temor, la garantía de protección.
