अगस्तिरुवाच । मथुरायां द्विजः कश्चिदभूद्भूदेवसत्तमः । तस्य पुत्रो महातेजाः शिवशर्मेति विश्रुतः
agastiruvāca | mathurāyāṃ dvijaḥ kaścidabhūdbhūdevasattamaḥ | tasya putro mahātejāḥ śivaśarmeti viśrutaḥ
Agastya dijo: En Mathurā vivía cierto dos veces nacido, el más excelente de los ‘dioses en la tierra’, un venerable brāhmaṇa. Su hijo, de gran esplendor, era célebre con el nombre de Śivaśarmā.
