जीर्णं कमंडलुं दंडमुपवीताजिने अपि । अप्स्वेव तानि निक्षिप्य गृह्णीतान्यच्च मंत्रवत्
jīrṇaṃ kamaṃḍaluṃ daṃḍamupavītājine api | apsveva tāni nikṣipya gṛhṇītānyacca maṃtravat
Aunque se gasten su kamaṇḍalu (vasija de agua), su daṇḍa (bastón), su upavīta (cordón sagrado) y su ajina (piel de ciervo), debe depositarlos en el agua y luego tomar otros en su lugar, recitando los mantras debidos.
