काशीस्थैः पतितैस्तुल्या न वयं स्वर्गिणः क्वचित् । काश्यां पाताद्भयं नास्ति स्वर्गेपाताद्भयं महत्
kāśīsthaiḥ patitaistulyā na vayaṃ svargiṇaḥ kvacit | kāśyāṃ pātādbhayaṃ nāsti svargepātādbhayaṃ mahat
No deseamos en modo alguno ser moradores del cielo; preferimos ser como aquellos caídos que aun así permanecen en Kāśī. En Kāśī no hay temor de caer, pero en el cielo es grande el temor de volver a caer (por agotarse el mérito).
