इत्थं परिष्टुत्य स कार्तिकेयं नमो नमस्त्वित्यभिभाषमाणः । द्विस्त्रिःपरिक्रम्य पुरो विवेश स्थितो मुनीशोपविशेति चोक्तः
itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
Así, tras alabar a Kārtikeya y repetir una y otra vez: «Homenaje, homenaje a Ti», dio dos o tres vueltas en pradakṣiṇā y luego entró ante Él. Allí, de pie, se le dijo: «Oh señor entre los sabios, toma asiento».
