इत्यनुज्ञामनुप्राप्य जननी चरणांबुजौ । क्षणं मौलिजजंबाल जडौ कृत्वा ध्रुवो ययौ
ityanujñāmanuprāpya jananī caraṇāṃbujau | kṣaṇaṃ maulijajaṃbāla jaḍau kṛtvā dhruvo yayau
Así, obtenida la venia, Dhruva se inclinó y se aferró a los pies de loto de su madre; con la red de cabellos de su cabeza los dejó inmóviles por un instante, y luego partió.
