विना यथा वैभवशक्तिमेकां भवंति हीनाः स्वफलैः क्रियौघाः । तथा विना तं द्विजवर्यमेकं दैत्या जयाशा विमुखा बभूवुः
vinā yathā vaibhavaśaktimekāṃ bhavaṃti hīnāḥ svaphalaiḥ kriyaughāḥ | tathā vinā taṃ dvijavaryamekaṃ daityā jayāśā vimukhā babhūvuḥ
Así como una multitud de actos, al carecer de una sola potencia que los haga fructificar, queda privada de su fruto debido, así también, sin aquel único brāhmaṇa supremo, Śukra, los Daityas se apartaron de la esperanza de victoria.
