सूत उवाच । पतिव्रता गृहे यस्य सफलं तस्य जीवनम् । यस्यांगच्छायया तुल्या यत्कथा पुण्यकारिणी
sūta uvāca | pativratā gṛhe yasya saphalaṃ tasya jīvanam | yasyāṃgacchāyayā tulyā yatkathā puṇyakāriṇī
Sūta dijo: «Aquel en cuya casa mora una pativratā—su vida se vuelve plena. Su sola presencia es como una sombra protectora, y el relato de su historia se convierte en causa de mérito (puṇya)».
