अनेनैव त्रिशूलेन खट्वांगेनाथवा पुनः । अथ पाशुपतेनैव निहनिष्यामि तं रणे । शीघ्रं वै वदतास्माक मत्रागमनकारणम्
anenaiva triśūlena khaṭvāṃgenāthavā punaḥ | atha pāśupatenaiva nihaniṣyāmi taṃ raṇe | śīghraṃ vai vadatāsmāka matrāgamanakāraṇam
«Con este mismo tridente—o con el khaṭvāṅga—o incluso con el arma Pāśupata, lo abatiré en la batalla. Decidme pronto, en verdad, la causa de vuestra venida aquí.»
