Transliteration

vedabāhyāḥ pranaṣṭāste uttamādhamamadhyamāḥ | ṣaṭtriṃśacca sahasrāṇi ye'bhūvangobhujāḥ purā

Translation

Aquellos que se apartaron del Veda y así cayeron en ruina—fuesen tenidos por altos, bajos o medianos—eran antaño treinta y seis mil, viviendo como pastores de ganado.
