व्यास उवाच । स्तोत्रेणैवामुना तुष्टो वायुपुत्रोऽब्रवीद्वचः । शृणुध्वं हि वरं विप्रा यद्वो मनसि रोचते
vyāsa uvāca | stotreṇaivāmunā tuṣṭo vāyuputro'bravīdvacaḥ | śṛṇudhvaṃ hi varaṃ viprā yadvo manasi rocate
Vyāsa dijo: Complacido por este mismo himno de alabanza, el Hijo de Vāyu pronunció estas palabras: «Escuchad, oh brāhmaṇas; elegid una gracia, aquello que sea grato a vuestros corazones».
