Narrative voice (stotra-style praise within the chapter)
Tirtha: Dharmāraṇya
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis (implied)
Scene: Majestic Dharmeśvara (Śiva) as lord of Dharmāraṇya: seated in yogic posture, crescent moon and matted locks, with Bhavānī beside; a luminous thread of light extends from his heart into the hearts of beings, symbolizing pervasion; below, devotees meditate, the ‘prison-house’ of saṃsāra depicted as broken chains.
Meditation on Dharmeśvara (Śiva), the indwelling Lord, is portrayed as the path that ends repeated bondage in saṃsāra.
Dharmāraṇya is explicitly glorified through the epithet “Dharmāraṇya-pati,” presenting the site as Śiva’s sacred domain.
Dhyāna (meditation) on Dharmeśvara is the key practice highlighted.
