Transliteration

javenāgatya taṃ deśaṃ māgadhairabhipūritam | dahyamānaṃ kraṃdamānaṃ hṛtastrīsutagodhanam

Translation

Con presteza llegó a aquella región, ya colmada por las huestes de Magadha: en llamas y resonante de lamentos, donde habían sido arrebatados mujeres, hijos, ganado y riquezas.
