Transliteration a̱yáṃ ve̱náś codáyat pṛ́śnigarbʰā̱ jyóti̱r jarāyū́ rájaso vimā́ne | imám apā́ṃ saṅgamé sū́ryasya śíśuṃ na víprā matíbʰī rihanti | upayā́magṛhīto'si márkāya tvā
Translation Este Vena ha impulsado (la luz) de embrión moteado, el resplandor con su envoltura, en la región medida del espacio aéreo. En la confluencia de las aguas, en el lugar de encuentro del Sol, los sabios lo lamen, como a un niño, con sus pensamientos. «Eres tomado con el upayāma; para la Markā (libación, bebida) — a ti.»
