Determination of the Measures of Time

एतद्द्वादशसाहस्रं साधिकं च चतुर्युगम् । चतुर्युगसहस्रं यत्संकल्प इति कथ्यते

Transliteration

etaddvādaśasāhasraṃ sādhikaṃ ca caturyugam | caturyugasahasraṃ yatsaṃkalpa iti kathyate

Translation

Se dice que esta medida es de doce mil (años divinos) y un poco más, constituyendo un ciclo de cuatro yugas. Mil de tales ciclos de cuatro yugas es lo que se llama un kalpa.
