अभावे तस्य विश्वस्य सृष्टिरेषा कथं भवेत् । अचेतनत्वादज्ञानादनयोः पशुपाशयोः

Transliteration

abhāve tasya viśvasya sṛṣṭireṣā kathaṃ bhavet | acetanatvādajñānādanayoḥ paśupāśayoḥ

Translation

Si Aquél (el Señor Supremo) estuviera ausente, ¿cómo podría darse esta creación del universo? Pues tanto el paśu (alma atada) como el pāśa (atadura) son insensibles e ignorantes, y por sí mismos no pueden originar la creación.
