पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

तदर्धं दिनमेकं वा व्रतसंकल्पनावधि । अग्निमाधाय विधिवद्विरजाहोमकारणात्

Transliteration

tadardhaṃ dinamekaṃ vā vratasaṃkalpanāvadhi | agnimādhāya vidhivadvirajāhomakāraṇāt

Translation

El tiempo para formular la resolución del voto (vrata-saṅkalpa) debe ser de medio día o de un día entero. Luego, tras establecer debidamente el fuego sagrado según el rito, debe realizarse el Virajā-homa, pues es causa de purificación ritual (liberación de la impureza).
