Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Cosmic Event: pralaya-śarvarī and punar-sṛṣṭi at yuga-ādi; restoration of karaṇas (instruments/capacities)
It teaches the cyclical nature of creation: beings re-enter manifestation with their prior karmic instruments, showing that liberation comes by transcending the causal bonds (pāśa) rather than expecting the cycle to end by time alone.
By emphasizing recurring cosmic order, it points devotees to the timeless Lord (Pati) who remains constant beyond cycles; Linga-worship centers the mind on that unchanging reality while the world repeatedly manifests and dissolves.
Contemplate impermanence and karmic continuity while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya); support the practice with Shaiva disciplines such as bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and steady japa to loosen attachment to recurring worldly states.
